What do you enjoy most about running your business?
Since i was a little girl I've always dreamed of having a little hair salon of my own. I am proud to say that I am most certainly living the dream. I guess what I love most about running my own business is the pride I feel when I know my clients are happy.

What drew you to "vintage" over other hair &/or makeup styles?
I first trained in LA, back in 1994, learning from an amazing teacher who has so much passion for classic hair! He was a hair genius, from fingerwaves to poodle sets! he was my main inspiration. I've been hooked on classic vintage hair ever since!

Which is your favourite era/look and why?
My favourite era to style is definitely 1950's! the curvaceous sets, gravity defying rolls and cute pincurls!

What is the most popular service(s) from those you offer?
We offer a vast styling range but I guess our iconic look is our hollywood glamour styling, this most definitely a Vintage Rocks specialty! it really does make our clients like a old movie star.

If you could style anyone past or present who would it be?
This is a hard one... from the past I would love to style Marlene Dietrich or Lana Turner, from present I would love to style Paloma Faith.

How would you like to see your business grow & the Vintage Industry develop over the coming year(s)?
Vintage Rocks has grown from strength to strength in the last 6 years, with a very well established and respected Brand. I am currently working on my own Vintage Rocks hair products, from pomades to back combing sprays. I hope one day to open my very own Vintage Rocks beauty school... keeping vintage alive!

I work with a wonderful team of creative stylists, and we just all adore what we do, just wanted to say how awesome they are :)
